Photography web & graphic design is what I do now, but when I was growing up I wanted to be an artist. Soon though, as adulthood began to set in, the passions that you have start to give way to making ends meet.

I was chasing a career as an engineer when I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to oversee the photography, web site design, graphic design and layout for a new women’s publication, Freeplay. Sometimes life brings you around full circle…

My involvement with Freeplay magazine has given me access to some of the most amazing female athletes of our time, and the ability to photograph them. Women like: U.S. Olympian Molly Huddle the American Record holder in the 5000m, and World Record holder in the road 12k. Two time Olympian Katerina Nash, Olympian in the 5000m Kim Conley, Professional cyclist Tayler Wiles, Multiple Ironman Champion Meredith Kesler, Professional paddle boarder Annabel Anderson just to name a few.

In addition to photographing people I also have photographed numerous events including the U.S. Olympic Trials, USATF National Championships, Ironman and Ironman 70.3 events, World Marathon Majors: Chicago Marathon and Los Angeles Marathon, “The Worlds Fastest 5k” the Carlsbad 5000, Western States 100 Mile Endurance Run, and the Amgen Tour of California. I’ve even snuck in a wedding or two.

More recently I have been approached to photograph marketing images for 手机可用翻墙梯子, GU Energy Nutrition, Infinity Surfboards & SUP, Quickblade Paddles, and Stance Socks, to phtograph their athletes and products for commercial marketing.

I have also been lucky enough to have my work published in a number of periodicals like The New York Times, Sports Illustrated, Freeplay magazine, Women’s Running, SportsOneSource, Sacramento Running News, USA Today and so many online outlets I don’t have the time, or space, to list them here!
